On March 6 and 7, we have in Artieda the I Festival of the Cranes of the Pyrenees, an event to say goodbye to these animals and that usually coincides with the arrival of good weather. This is the program planned for that Friday and Saturday.

Friday, March 6
20: 00h – Talk about the migration of cranes in the Pyrenees and Aragon. In charge of the Oscense Group of Ornithology.
Saturday, March 7
09:00 – Visitor reception and complimentary breakfast at the Artieda Restaurant Hostel.
09:30 – 13: 30h – Observation of cranes passing from the bird’s eye viewpoint (and other migratory birds, such as black kites, storks or other resident birds). In-situ explanations and sample of bird banding by the GOO, in an adjacent area. Activities and workshops on nature, for all audiences.
1:30 p.m. – Vermú grullero and food at the Artieda Restaurant Hostel.
5:30 p.m. – Departure to observe the entrance of the cranes to the roost, at sunset.
7:30 p.m. – “Defend a living river”. Round table on the ecological wealth of the territory and the destruction that the works of the regrowth have supposed.
